Aims

To engage students in the techniques and processes associated with producing off-campus work (either original or extant) for a specific community, socio-cultural function, arena of presentation, or target audience. To offer the opportunity for students to work collaboratively and self-direct in producing work for and engaging with a specific market. To enhance students' capacity for peer and self-evaluation of self-directed work.

Learning Outcomes

Develop an effective performance event to a specific brief and for a specific market, community or client.
2.
Analyse and evaluate their own and peers' practice in self-directed work.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:The project will emphasise collaborative self-management in creating and producing a performance project to a specific brief and for a specific market, community or client The final piece of performance work will be shared to a specified target audience. Students will have the option to negotiate their respective role and contribution to the project overall and this does not have to be as a performer. This flexibility allows the student to continue to explore and develop individual interests in a group context.
Module Overview:

It will offer you the opportunity to work collaboratively and self-direct in producing work for, and engaging with, a specific market.
Additional Information:A performance led module focusing on specific context and function. Material will be drawn from a range of sources as appropriate.
