5024MPHARM-SEP-CTY
Aims
To provide students with skills to use relevant data and appropriate equations to solve simple and more complex (multiple step) pharmaceutical calculations to design and verify the safety of dose regimen and medicine supply.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Recognise the role of calculation skills in the design of dose regime.
2.
Identify and select relevant vs. redundant numerical data to solve a problem
3.
Select and apply the appropriate mathematical equations to solve health economic problems
4.
Apply clinical knowledge to identify and correct errors in calculations
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:
The syllabus for level 5 MPharm can be viewed in the 5000MPHARM module

Additional Information:
This module is for summative assessment only. All learning, formative assessment and feedback for this assessment are included in the content module 5000MPHARM, underpinned by learning from 4000MPHARM.
To ensure the programme aligns to the GPhC commitment to patient safety, any serious concerns that are identified within the assessment will be reviewed by a panel of pharmacists. If the concern raised is deemed to pose a risk to patient safety, the student will FAIL the assessment, even if they have achieved the required pass score.
Students must be successful in the module to progress to the next level of study.
No compensation, no trailing.
