Aims
The aims of this module are to develop insight and understanding around the transferrable skills, experiences and knowledge required for the role of the probation practitioner. It aims to develop understanding around the opportunities available to working with people on probation and enhance self awareness within the context of practionership.

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:
This module will be supported by a number of seminars and workshops, that will be delivered at regular points throughout the Level 5 programme. Content will include - understanding probation practice - integrating knowledge, practice and theory - understanding policy - - values and beliefs - self awareness in practice - skills / qualities awareness and transfer - diversity - bias - reflective practice - multi agency work and transferrable skills - drop in sessions.

It will integrate learning from Required Knowledge modules (5001, 5002, 5003 and 5004COMJUS).
