Aims
To explore, from the perspective of the non-analyst, how organisations make use of statistical data and information in order to inform decision making. Students will also be introduced to basic concepts of contemporary data analysis with the objective of mastering tools to transformation structured data into actionable information. Finally it will introduce students to the novel approaches that are revolutionizing the way business management is done (Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence etc.).
Learning Outcomes

Use analytical tools and techniques to transform data into actionable insight.

Justify the use of a particular analytic approach and communicate its managerial implications to a non-technical audience.
