Additional Information:This module supports students in developing the knowledge and skills to plan, undertake and evaluate their own environmental health/public health based project. Students identify a project and arrange a placement in an appropriate professional or community organisation. Assessment is by portfolio and typically this will contain: a report outlining the rationale for the project; the project’s aims and objectives; information about the progress of the project and an evaluation of how the student has met personal and professional goals; a piece of work reflecting upon what the student has learnt about him/herself during the project.
Students will also include their CareerSmart statement as an appendix to this report.
