Aims

The module will aim to outline the sustainability concept by highlighting the three sustainability pillars, economic, environmental and social aspects, and how sustainable technologies are needed to respond to the climate change issues and the depletion of the natural resources. UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be listed and discussed. Case studies will be presented where sustainable materials, energy resources and processes could be proposed to replace main stream unsustainable practice as inspired by SDGs. The impact of such intervention will be explored on the people and the planet.
