Aims
This module acts as a synoptic task for level 4 of all sustainability streams. It offers students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained to a real-world task appropriate to their specialism.
This module is also designed to develop fundamental professional skills required by professionals working in industry and commerce as sustainability specialists.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Demonstrate an awareness of the importance of written and verbal communication in professional practice, and the production of visual aids
2.
Write structured reports and present numerical data in appropriate graphical form.
3.
Demonstrate an understanding of referencing of traditional, basic literature searches through the use of library databases and Internet search engines
4.
Demonstrate an appreciation of professional standards.
