Module Content

Outline Syllabus:
This module will introduce you to a wide range of digital technologies and related software and you will develop an understanding of their development and how they are integrated with the creative design process.
You will explore a range of digital technologies and software as employed by creatives and designers and learn how to use them, working in a studio environment and experiencing studio practices.
Managing digital technology and software is key to utilising it successfully and in this module you will be introduced to the various methods of managing digital media in a variety of task appropriate formats.
You will develop a discerning knowledge and critical understanding of digital terminology and language.
Working collaboratively with specialist technicians you will create a digital artefact to communicate a negotiated narrative.
Additional Information:
In this module you will broaden your knowledge of visual communication with the emphasis on digital media and new technologies.
