Aims

1. To expose students to a range of art made by non-Western artists in order to broaden knowledge. 2. To introduce students to the diversity of practices and techniques employed outside of Europe and the USA. 3. To inform students about the complex social and historical contexts for the production of non-Western Art.

Module Overview:
This module will expose you to a range of art made by non-Western artists in order to broaden knowledge and introduce you to the diversity of practices and techniques employed outside of Europe and the USA.
Additional Information:This module introduces students to the content, practices of and individuals or institutions associated with non-Western art. Students are also exposed to the social and cultural contexts behind non-Western art.
