Aims
To introduce students to the range and diversity of areas of the discipline of art history. To introduce students to some of the themes of universal concern to artists from all eras. To familiarise students with the necessary skills for investigating art history.

This module will introduce students to the range and diversity of areas of the discipline of art history and to some of the themes of universal concern to artists from all eras.

This module introduces students to the range of themes which are of universal significance to artists. These universal themes are understood as providing ‘frameworks’ within which artists from all periods work.
