Aims

To enable students to transition successfully between further and higher education To develop knowledge of the personal skills necessary to succeed on an undergraduate law and criminal justice-related programme To develop knowledge of the academic skills necessary to succeed on an undergraduate law and criminal justice-related programme To develop confidence in undertaking group work

Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate the ability to find, retrieve and interpret sources of information about English law and criminal justice
2.
Develop and utilise personal and academic skills necessary for successful study on a law and criminal justice-related undergraduate programme
3.
Present information on English law and criminal justice verbally, using appropriate technology as tool to aid presentation
4.
Identify and reflect upon the following aspects of self-awareness in respect of personal development and career planning: strengths and weaknesses, motivations and values, ability to work with others.
