Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Students will acquire knowledge of basic practical filmmaking skills through a series of practical workshops, screenings and group tutorials. Students will also be introduced to the basic principles of pre-production planning and organisation, including developing storyboards, shooting scripts, risk assessments and production schedules in relation to factual filmmaking.

This module will introduce you to the basic principles of factual filmmaking. You will be introduced to the organisation, planning and production of factual film to be able to critically reflect your own factual filmmaking.

Additional Information:This module focuses on acquiring specific practical filmmaking skills associated with factual filmmaking. Students produce a location profile, which aims to capture and document a specific place. Students will produce a 1000 word critical reflection, which assesses their critical engagement with the factual project.
