Module Content

Outline Syllabus:Referencing, selecting sources, presentation skills, essay writing and structure. A study of the court system in England and Wales.
Module Overview:
In this module you will develop your academic skills in writing and critical analysis. The module will develop your awareness of sources of information that are presented using a variety of media. Through the development of team working skills you will also have an improved understanding of the court system in England and Wales.
Additional Information:The module introduces students to the range of assessments that they will be required to complete as part of their CJ studies. Students will have a face to face taught element where they will be able to use the workshop style to explore these methods. Students will also be required to engage in online assessments that demonstrate their ability to do each key skill before their essay assessment.
