To provide students with an insight into the practical skills that are necessary as they begin their course and as they progress through their programme of study and into a career in Public and Environmental Health.

Outline Syllabus:The module will cover the range of practical skills that are relevant to Public and Environmental Health. It will cover areas such as data handling and interpretation; collection, recording and dissemination of information; observation, negotiation; persuasion; infographics; communication, group collaboration, project development, working with others.
The module will consider the theory behind these practical skills, as well as their application.
