Outline Syllabus:Effective communication skills (written and oral) Listening skills Communication for conflict resolution Conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques Accurate verbal reporting of information Care and compassion Self-awareness Personal values and beliefs Person centred/Humanist theory Working in partnership Building caring therapeutic professional relationships Working with difference Self-care and Emotional resilience Core interpersonal and communication skills for assessment and recognition of need Confidentiality
Module Overview:
To facilitate effective communication using a range of strategies To utilise a range of communication methods to enhance collaboration and partnership working Utilising feedback to enhance communication Communication is a core skill for the Nursing Associate / Assistant Practitioner. This module will support learners to engage with therapeutic communication skills for practice. Students will be expected to study independently using directed materials from the module content.
