To provide students with an understanding of the range of stressors and their impact on human health.

Outline Syllabus:The relationships between humans and their environment. Basic scientific terminology and exploration of key body systems and common related diseases. Fundamental principles of ecology, the biosphere and its processes, including, climate change and concepts of recycling and renewal. Natural resources: how they are used in society, issues of sustainability and impacts on health.
