Aims
To introduce students to the history, development and nature of the English legal system
To introduce students to sources and types of law
To explore the nature and function of key legal personnel within the English legal system
To examine the interaction between law and morality to assist students in developing an appreciation of the role of law
To create a basic appreciation of the legal reasoning and techniques needed for legal studies
