Aims
This module looks to provide a grounding in international investment law. Dealing with jurisdiction of investment arbitration tribunals, the regulation of the State and protections afforded and looking at the effectiveness of current regimes in international investment. Students will also evaluate the operation of investments and enforcement of arbitration awards.

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:By completing this module, students are expected to cover the indicative content as follows:
a. Substantive legal issues in international investment agreements,
b. Investor-state arbitration.
c. State Regulation – protections
d. Evolution International investments.
e. Instruments in Foreign Investing
