Aims
This module provides students with a grounding in the background law needed to fully understand the legal landscape in which environmental law operates. This module has been designed to support both those with, and those without, a legal background. The assessments have been designed specifically to enable non-lawyer/legal background students to gain a firm grasp of legal writing, including syllogistic reasoning. Furthermore, this will ensure that lawyers/legal background students entering the course are refreshed in academic rigour, and stretched/challenged, in preparation to work as masters (FHEQ 7) level.
