Aims
In this module students combine skills and techniques used in Advanced Facilitation, Critical Perspectives and Executive Effectiveness in the delivery of a short drama or theatre project.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Synthesise practical drama work, reflective practice, research informed decision making and executive effectiveness in a specific theatre/drama project.
2.
Distil and appraise broad career plans and formulate a realisable project as a step towards a larger career goal.
3.
Demonstrate a high level of autonomy, initiative and an ability to adhere to their own agreed working strategies and objectives.
4.
Demonstrate an advanced ability to design and deliver workshop processes that synthesise both creative and critical approaches in both forging community and addressing a specific issue or concern.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:The project will be negotiated wit the module leader at an early point in the course leading to the development of a learning contract. Thereafter support will be given through tutorial. The project should centre on some form of practical dram work and draw on techniques studied in either Critical Perspective OR Executive Effectiveness.
