Aims
The aim of this module is to introduce the main concepts in critical assessment of professional practice and the methodologies of practice as research. The module will initiate professional career development planning.
Learning Outcomes

Critically evaluate critical frameworks and their complex relationships.

Systematically examine and evaluate the performing arts economies.

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:The module will consider a range of critical frameworks for the analysis of the performing arts economies, performance making and facilitation. It will examine ways in which creative endeavour investigates ideas and the various methodologies and paradigms for practice based research. Notions of personal development in the context of practical investigation and the demands of the industry will be considered.
