Aims

This module aims to progress the student’s practical, creative engagement with interpretation of existing material in the artistic creation of an original new work. Students will adopt learned skills from Advanced Technique II and manage the logistics, organisation and planning of the project. Students will analyse and reflect on this process, recognising its contribution to a developing methodology.

Learning Outcomes

Present and consolidate research findings in theatre making and performance practice.

Employ complex communication and collaborative principles, negotiating challenges, decision-making and working solutions with peers/external bodies.

Engage with industry peers as collaborators, developing effective professional project management skills.

Employ sophisticated methodological strategies and contribute to the creative process.

Document and critically analyse personal and peer practice, according to professional standards and expectations.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:In this module you will progress your development as a company member, working independently and with others to create theatre works. You will engage with an extant work and develop original, new material to be produced and performed. You will identify and analyse the project’s impact on your developing craft in a Viva Voce.
