Aims
1. To introduce and contextualize the principles of integrative models of adult development through experiential engagement in a self-devised schedule of integrative practice, involving committed and regular experiential practice in physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and interpersonal modalities, totalling 100 hours over a period of 8 months.
2. To foster embodied competence in integrative practice within a community context, enabling critical and mature assessment of the effects and value of practices chosen by the students, including socio-cultural dynamics and interrelationships of practices.
3. To facilitate critical reflection on the relationship between theory and practice in integrative work in personal and professional contexts.
4. To progressively deepen the student’s sense of embodiment and lived engagement with theory through transformative practices as an integral component of experiential learning.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:This module is a core module on a fully online, distance learning MSc programme. All activities take place via the Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE) into which students will be inducted at the commencement of the programme.
