Aims

4. To develop strategies to support a critical framework for research and project development.
5. To provide a foundation for the development of critical production for future work.

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:The module seeks to continue the principle of critical practice or embedding theory in practice. It requires students to produce critical writing (a reflection and synthesis paper) in support of their practice based ISP and revise their proposal in order to facilitate the further development of their project.
Additional Information:Students are expected to develop an informed sense of their own practice in this module. It continues the principle of critical practice or embedding theory in practice building upon other modules. Students are asked to undertake to analyse, reflect upon and contextualise their own practice, and collate and prepare research and development materials. Students produce a revised project proposal that articulates their interdisciplinary thinking and outlines changes to their initial proposal based upon the insights gained through the process of producing a written reflection and synthesis document.
