Aims

To provide an understanding of advocacy and mooting to be able to argue in court

Learning Outcomes

demonstrate the ability to select key research issues and to identify relevant primary and secondary sources
2.
Demonstrate an ability to apply legal knowledge to complex problems and draw reasoned conclusions supported by legal authority
3.
Demonstrate an ability to evaluate and rank unfamiliar arguments in light of established statute, judicial decisions and authoritative legal commentary
4.
Demonstrate an ability to present an argument in a way that is comprehensible and addresses their particular concerns

Allows students to develop an understanding of advocacy and mooting to be able to argue in court. This module covers:
