Aims
To gain an appreciation of both the constitutional and theoretical framework of the UK alongside EU Law and Human Rights
Learning Outcomes
1.
Critique the nature of the British constitutional arrangements and its relationship with relevant regional/EU/international organisations
2.
Demonstrate a critical understanding of the theories underpinning British constitutional law (including relevant elements of EU Law)
3.
Critically discuss and analyse the growing importance of Human Rights in British public law
4.
Demonstrate critical problem solving skills and analysis in the application of administrative law concepts in relevant UK and EU settings

Module Overview:
This module will allow students to gain an appreciation of both the constitutional and theoretical framework of the UK alongside EU Law and Human Rights. Students will be supported on their learning journey in honing their research, presentations, problem solving and debating skills through; tailored collaborative workshops to foster and nurture their learning through collective intelligence; directed independent study for their self-actualisation as autonomous learners, and; various opportunities for formative feedback and feed forward.
