Aims

This module will give students the opportunity to interact with key individuals from industry whilst also developing practical skills relating to crucial pieces of software.

Learning Outcomes

1.
To develop a practical understanding of key digital software in the industry.
2.
To develop an understanding of the skills and knowledge that the digital industry currently demands.
3.
To demonstrate a practical skill base through the creation of a digital portfolio.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:The outline of this syllabus is designed to be flexible so that, dependent on what digital recruiters are currently demanding, this module can provide workshops to respond to those skill requests. The module will focus on significant software which is considered to be key to the industry.
Module Overview:
Learn from industry professionals in a four hour evening workshop which runs over four weeks in semester 2. The workshops will teach you to use a range of software that is currently used in industry so that you are equipped with relevant practical skills for this ever evolving sector.


Additional Information:This module enables students to develop a crucial skill-base that is appropriate for the evolving digital industry.
