1. Provide students with the opportunity to appraise methodological approaches to researching issues of global crime, justice & security
2. Provide students with the skills required to undertake a dissertation at postgraduate level
3. Encourage students in the development of their research skills
Learning Outcomes

Show originality in the application of knowledge, together with a practical understanding of how established techniques of research and enquiry may be used to create and interpret knowledge in relevant areas of law
