Aims

1. To introduce students to the basic concepts, institutions and processes of international criminal law. 2. To introduce students to current debates regarding the application of international criminal law 3. To provide students with an appreciation of contemporary issues of global concern relating to the prosecution of international crimes

Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate an understanding of core principles of international criminal law

Demonstrate a critical appreciation of some of the key contemporary debates within international criminal law
3.
Provide critical analysis of contemporary issues by drawing on a range of both primary and secondary sources.

This module will:
