Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Developing newswriting skills, grammar, accuracy and presentation and news judgement for the production of artefacts for different media audiences. Developing skills in adapting their writing for different platforms and an understanding of different , story treatments, and the requirements of producing content.

This module aims to develop your news gathering skills in sourcing original stories and producing them ethically and accurately for broadcast and online. The module focuses on radio and re purposing material for online use by using electronic Newsroom systems, audio and video recording and editing software. It:

Additional Information:This is a practical module where students will develop their newsgathering skills in sourcing original stories and producing them ethically and accurately. They will use appropriate systems and software to gather information and produce artefacts in line with current professional journalism practice. They will begin to learn the requirements of different news environments.
