To enable healthcare professionals to have the opportunity to maximise learning opportunities and experiences relevant to their own area of work in order to facilitate career and professional development.

Learning Outcomes

Additional Information:This module has been designed to enable healthcare professionals to have the opportunity to maximise learning opportunities and experiences relevant to their own area of work in order to facilitate career and professional development. The assessment is a portfolio of evidence supported by a reflective piece of work to support the work based learning agreement. The module is delivered is tripartite based with dedicated tutorial sessions and is delivered over an academic standard year long. This module is an optional choice across the MSc Advanced Health Care Practice Clinical and Critical Care routes. The students have access to a VLE and the University's other range of electronic support such as access to the electronic library facilities. The students also have access to the module leader through phone contact, emails and face to face meetings. A module guide is also provided which guides students to the wider range of support available. The methods for improving the quality and standards of learning are as follows: • Continuous Monitoring and Enhancement • Feedback from the students and Boards of Study • Reports from External Examiner • Ensuring the module reflects the values of the current teaching and learning strategy An appropriately qualified external examiner will be selected from the team for the MSc Advanced Health Care Practice
