Aims

To undertake an independent financial management dissertation relevant to the student's field of practice or area of professional interest.

Learning Outcomes

1.
Formulate, develop and justify an original research problem relevant to the practice/field of interest.
2.
Conduct an effective literature search demonstrating an awareness, understanding and critical appraisal of previous relevant theoretical and empirical work in relation to the chosen research problem.
3.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of differing research paradigms, ethics and research governance principles and how to apply them appropriately to the chosen research problem.
4.
Gather, present, analyse and interpret appropriate evidence in relation to the chosen research problem.
5.
Synthesise the research findings and justify your conclusions with consideration of the research problem, constraints of the study and previous literature.
