Aims

1. To examine the purpose, design and conduct of qualitative research studies 2. To explore the ethical issues of conducting research on individuals and groups 3. To develop skills to critically appraise published qualitative studies

Learning Outcomes

Critically evaluate the value, uses and limitations of a range of qualitative research methodologies and methods in relation to research around health and wellbeing.
2.
Critically discuss approaches to qualitative research design, methods and data analysis, with application to undertaking research around health and wellbeing.
3.
Critically interpret and synthesise qualitative research findings, as applied to health and wellbeing studies.
