Aims
1. Provide the student with a series of practical exercises that allow them to focus on creating effective on-screen performances.
2. Further develop the students’ actor process in preparation for professional auditions through the study and acquisition of audition techniques for both film and stage.
3. Equip students with a detailed understanding of professional contexts and encourage independent industry research.
Module Content
Outline Syllabus:Through themed workshops, practical classes and seminars, this module will enable students to acquire a range of professional level acting techniques, refine audition techniques and, gain experience and understanding of screen acting principals. Voice classes utilise seminar and workshop-based delivery to explore and consolidate accent and dialect work in response to the individual needs of the student and chosen career path.
Additional Information:This module equips students with a professional approach to industry acting standards and expectations for both stage and filmed media projects.
Assessment is via submission of a filmed self-taped assessment.
