To provide students with an understanding of the principles and procedures of conducting research

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:The different procedures in research including identifying a problem, formatting a research question, generating hypotheses, searching the literature, collecting data, selecting valid and reliable methods, critically assess the findings and interpreting results, constructing figures and tables, and writing the research report
Using statistical methods in research - statistical methods, SPSS and SAS programs, interpreting statistical reports.
Additional Information:** Note: 5506DAUNU is a pre-requisite for this module, and must be successfully completed before registering for this module. **
This module seeks to support the student to apply principles of research design and report writing. Data analysis will be demonstrated using existing data sets.
