To develop a critical and comprehensive understanding of the concept of development 3. To develop an overview of how International Relations have impact on development

Learning Outcomes

Assess the key debates in the subject area of development studies.

Critically explain the empirical aspects of development studies and the actual challenges.

Additional Information:This modules studies interplay between development and IR. It will also encourage the students to take a critical look at the pragmatic issues in global governance. Multimedia and participatory methods will be used in seminar teaching.
