Aims
To demonstrate a critical appreciation for the interaction between people, organisations and buildings in order to optimise health, inclusivity, sustainability and productivity.
Learning Outcomes

Appraise the sustainable significance of buildings and workplaces

Appreciate and evaluate the social, cultural and political influences on buildings and workplaces, including equality, diversity and inclusivity considerations.

Critically analyse the relationship between the productivity of people and organisations, and the buildings they work within

In this module students will learn to demonstrate a critical appreciation for the interaction between people, organisations and buildings in order to optimise health, inclusivity, sustainability and productivity.

Additional Information:
This module is concerned with the interaction between people, organisations and buildings in order to optimise health, inclusivity, sustainability and productivity. Subject to approval Building Surveying students have the opportunity to participate in a residential field visit to Malaysia, whereby Assignment 1 can be delivered and assessed during an allocated time period between the completion of Level 5 and the commencement of Level 6.
