Aims
this module brings together topics studied across the Building Surveying programme and integrates their application within a live project scenario. The project also aims to develop professional skills required to make effective decisions in an inclusive working environment.

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:This module will facilitate the learning process by enabling students to apply previously gained knowledge and theory in a practical context, working individually and collaboratively in order to negotiate decisions in relation to specific tasks. The brief will require consideration of a range of competencies dependent on the context of the project brief such as; software technologies, negotiation skills, legal considerations, surveying best practice, presentation and report writing skills.

Additional Information:The core theme of the module is to integrate the academic knowledge acquired from individual module subject areas, together with the professional and academic skills.
Individual and collaborative working is a key theme of the module; the intention being to simulate the work- place environment and activities and further develop the professional skills required of a building surveying professional.
