Aims
To develop students’ knowledge, understanding and ability to critically evaluate key psychological concepts that influence development and performance in and through football related contexts.
To develop students’ critical understanding of the application of these principles in football settings.
Learning Outcomes

Critically analyse the psychological and cultural challenges that elite players experience within youth and senior football environments.

Critically discuss the role of the applied sports psychologist in supporting players, teams and organisations with the various challenges in a development and performance context.
