This module aims to build safeguarding knowledge to enable the student to manage need across the safeguarding continuum for vulnerable individuals and client groups

Outline Syllabus:Identifying individuals at risk Identifying resilience and protective factors Approaches to early help Skills and attributes for approaches to early help Assessing individuals in need Improving outcomes for vulnerable groups Issues in collaboration & integrated working for safeguarding Public health approaches to safeguarding Serious case reviews
Module Overview:
This module provides you with an opportunity to critically consider contemporary practice across the safeguarding continuum and propose service developments for improved practice. It will support the development of competent and dynamic practitioners in the field.
Additional Information:This module will provide an opportunity to critically consider contemporary practice across the safeguarding continuum and propose service developments for improved practice. It will support the development of competent and dynamic practitioners in the field. In this module students are required and facilitated to extend their theoretical learning to apply to their own core settings / clients, and this is reflected in their assignments.
