Aims

The module aims to develop student's ability to critically evaluate contemporary issues in sport and exercise psychology that influence participants' performance, physical activity, wellbeing, health, and development.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:Current issues in sport: The content will reflect current issues underpinned by relevant research. Indicative content might include anxiety, mental health in sport, talent identification and development, and transition in sport. Current issues in physical activity: The content will reflect current issues underpinned by relevant research. Indicative content might include exercise and mental health, wellbeing, and behaviour change.
