Aims
This module aims to raise student awareness of the range of types of violence which cause social harm, awareness of the social characteristics which increase the risk of violent victimisation, and awareness of the challenges associated with regulating and responding to violence
Learning Outcomes

Critically evaluate the range of different types of violence in society

Critically evaluate knowledge and discourses on the nature and extent of violence

Critically analyse the effectiveness of current responses to violence, and the challenges facing effective regulation of violence
