The global burden of disease and the health transition

Communicable disease risks including HIV/AIDs, Pandemics
Non-Communicable disease risks and responses

Additional Information:This module introduces the concept of Global Health and the key health risks shared by nations and populations from a global perspective. The concepts of globalisation is critically to understanding these health risks and the international response through global strategies including the Sustainable Development Goals, The Convention on Tobacco Control and the Childhood Obesity Strategy.
