Aims
To provide students with the opportunity to make a significant contribution, by means of a specific function, to a creative ensemble in the production of works of theatre
To consolidate students' artistic, technical and administrative abilities and skills in the context of a public festival of theatre
To facilitate and consolidate students' ability to wok autonomously as theatre practitioners
Learning Outcomes

Transfer and apply advanced creative skills and exercise significant judgment in the contexts of creating and delivering performance(s) as part of a season of work for public audiences

Analyse and apply the use of group processes in the creation of work including, for example, working collectively in an ensemble, co-creation and organisational structures

Module Content
Outline Syllabus:A creative and practical module designed to facilitate each student with the opportunity to develop and work independently within an ensemble.
Based on work undertaken in Musical Theatre Production Company and Advanced Musical Theatre Practice 1 modules, students will organise, create and deliver an agreed programme of musical theatre performance as part of the department’s annual Drama Festival. Students can choose to act, direct, write, take on a technical or administrative role towards the production of the Festival and will receive guidance from staff in developing their work.
