Aims
This module considers methods to set up controls and conduct topographic surveys. On successful completion students will be able to set up and assess the accuracy of control points. Students will also be able to identify setting out and surveying errors.
Learning Outcomes

Describe the process of undertaking a topographic survey

Write a report detailing the causes of errors and techniques to improve accuracy
3.
Undertake a setting out exercise for a small building, including levelling
