Aims

This module aims to explore and develop the application of core HR professional behaviours to build positive working relationships and support employee voice and well-being. It considers how developing and mastering new professional behaviours and practice can impact performance in the contemporary workplace.

Module Content

Outline Syllabus:Knowledge of core HR professional behaviours in the context of own and people practice Application and impact of people practices and impact on culture in the contemporary workplace Different ethical perspectives and their influence on values and decisions Inclusive and collaborative strategies for building positive working relationships around employee voice and staff wellbeing Developing CPD protocols encouraging reflection and assessment of own strengths, weaknesses and development areas and feedback from others CIPD Profession Map, Culture and Behaviour and CIPD core behaviours
Module Overview:
In this module, students will explore and develop the application of core HR professional behaviours to build positive working relationships and support employee voice and well-being. Students will also consider how to develop and master new professional behaviours, and how these impact employee performance in the workplace.
Additional Information:This module focuses on developing a practical awareness of the skill sets to enhance personal professional practice and an understanding of its impact in the workplace.
