Outline Syllabus:Appraisal of key methods of inquiry to inform the evidence base
Introduction to coaching skills
Dealing with difficult people
Advanced communication skills
Emotional intelligence
Legal, ethical and professional nursing
Leadership styles
Developing critical thinking skills when applying evidence and making decisions
Team leadership strategies including prioritisation, delegation and assignment of duties for patient care
Involving patients, carers and families in care as co-creators
