Module Overview:
This module reinforces your engagement with a range of values, attitudes and skills that underpin safe and effective clinical practice. You will actively participate in care with minimal guidance to achieve proficiencies with associated NMC Professional Values. Practice-based activities on clinical placements (supervised by supervisors), key note lectures, and simulation workshops will help you develop your clinical practice.
This module reinforces your engagement with a range of values, attitudes and skills that underpin safe and effective clinical practice. You will actively participate in care with minimal guidance to achieve proficiencies with associated NMC Professional Values. Practice-based activities on clinical placements (supervised by supervisors), key note lectures, and simulation workshops will help you develop your clinical practice.
Additional Information:The Academic Assessor will monitor that the student has completed 787.50 practice hours. This includes any practice placement learning and simulated practice learning, in accordance with the students programme plan. These hours are not
included in the total module hours but are noted within the module proforma for university monitoring and progression purposes.
In addition to the contact hours above there are 320 private study hours.
198 hours are guided, this includes online and assessment preparation. Online hours are e-learning.
122 hours are independent study
