Aims
To provide students with the ability to undertake research in relation to paramedic practice. To analyse the value of evidence-based research in the development of health care practice.

Module Overview:
To provide students with the ability to undertake research in relation to paramedic practice. To analyse the value of evidence-based research in the development of health care practice. This module addresses the key methods of inquiry used by health professionals to enable them to answer research questions relevant to their field of practice. The module will engage the student with notions of research methodology as well as introduce them to specific research techniques. At the heart of the module will be how the ethical and judicious use of research will shape the development of paramedic practice.
