Aims
Aim(s) of the module is to demonstrate an understanding of various management principles and to apply management theories & techniques for the success of construction business.
Learning Outcomes
1.
Identify the evolution of management principles and their application to the construction and built environment sector.
2.
Identify and demonstrate knowledge on the construction and built environment sector in terms of structures and activities.
3.
Describe management techniques used in the construction and built environment sector.
4.
Identify the main requirements of an effective health and safety policy & assess hazards and solve health safety problems and understand the health, safety and welfare legislation applicable to the construction and built environment sector.
